
Mitsubishi Electric philanthropic activities
IIn its role as a leading company operating in 34 countries in the research and development, manufacture and sale of electrical and electronic equipment, Mitsubishi Electric is committed to being a responsible member of the communities it works in.
The philanthropic spirit is an important aspect of this commitment. By donating to social welfare, educational, cultural and sporting schemes, Mitsubishi Electric aims to act as a positive force in these societies. We sponsor activities that bring together different cultures in a positive and constructive context and undertake to make prompt and significant contributions when disasters occur, even in the most remote regions of the Earth.

Philanthropic activities of Italian Branch
In the last year the Mitsubishi Electric Italian branch donated founds or products to:
- A.M.A.T.A: Italian cultural association "Amici del Museo d'Arte di Tel Aviv" which promotes the Art Museum of Tel Aviv, its cultural and educational role.
- Brianza per il Cuore Association: local charity association that promotes and coordinates social and health initiatives to combat and prevent cardiovascular disease
- AVULSS: national association for volunteering in the local units of social and health services, local aggregation centre for disabled people
- Maria Letizia Verga committee: national association for the study and treatment of infant leukaemia
- COOPERATIVA IMPAROLE: local cooperative for in functional diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of neuropsychiatric disorders and neuromotor developmental age.
- CROCE ROSSA ITALIANA Comitato Provianciale Monza e Brianza: lezioni interattive di manovre di disostruzione pediatriche.
- Fondazione FAI (Italian environmental found): national association for the protection of territory, nature, art, history and tradition of Italy.
- FRANCESCA RAVA NPH ITALIA ONLUS: foundation to help children that live in poverty in Italy and abroad through distance adoption, projects, awareness campaigns on the rights of children and charity work.
- Nautical group Dielleffe: local association for the diffusion of nautical disciplines among people with physical, mental, economic and social difficulties.
- LEGA TUMORI: Public entity operating under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic and under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, non-profit organization that has as its primary mission the prevention of oncologic diseases, stimulation of research and improvement of assistance.
- PUPI FOUNDATION: foundation set up by Mr and Mrs Zanetti in support of a very poor area of Argentina with the purpose to create an area dedicated to children socially disadvantaged and disabled so that they can receive, from early childhood, the attention and education they need in every moment of their lives.
- TWINS INTERNATIONAL: non-profit association for the improvement of the living conditions of the most disadvantaged communities in developing countries, paying special attention to projects aimed at children.
- UNICEF United Nations Foundation for Children: world's leading organization for the protection of the rights and living conditions of children and adolescents.
- UNIONE SPORTIVA SILVIA TREMOLADA: non-profit association that organizes physical activity and sports for intellectually disabled.
