With more than 90 years' experience in providing reliable, high-tech products to corporate clients and general consumers all over the world, Mitsubishi Electric, formed in 1921, is a recognised world leader in the manufacture, marketing and sale of electrical and electronic equipment.

Since 1985 the Italian branch of Mitsubishi Electric has been based in Agrate Brianza, in the Centro Direzionale Colleoni, and operates through five business divisions: Air Conditioning Systems, Factory Automation, Photovoltaic Systems, Semiconductors, Multimedia Vision Systems. It also has secondary branches in Rome, Turin and Padua.

Mitsubishi Electric products and components are used in a wide range of fields: ICT, space research and satellite communications, consumer electronics, industrial applications technology, energy, transport and construction.

With 105 operations in 34 countries and 114.443 employees, Mitsubishi Electric's net sales in the year ended 31st of March 2012 were 3.639,4 trillion yen (44.4 billion US$*).

The company is strongly committed to eco-compatible products and activities and the promotion of Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
